CONSEQUENCES OF THE CUBAN REVOLUTION:

After the Cuban Revolution was over, it achieved its main goal of removing Fulgencio Batista from presidential Office, but even though the main goal of the Cuban revolution was a success, there were negatives to it too. One such negative was Fidel Castro taking power from the 20th Cuban president Manuel Urritia. Castro did this so he could impose his communist government on Cuba, which was not one of his promises. Castro promised a return to Cuba's economical democracy. Another negative was America's choice to ban travel and trade with Cuba, after it became a communist nation under Fidel Castro. This had major repercussions in Cuba's economy that are still felt today. The lasting impact the Cuban revolution has on the world is reduced trade and trust of communist nations. Overall The Cuban revolution was a success, in that Fulgencio Batista was removed from Office, but Fidel Castro's promises made during the revolution were not kept.
